Special exhibition: The end of Napoleon

One of today's highlights: we visited the special exhibition at the Napoleonmuseum in Salenstein (just a few villages from our place). Queen Hortense and her son the Emperor Napoleon III. lived here in exile, hoping and preparing the return to power. A special feature of the exhibition is the installation of a copy of the Napoleon grave in the castle park. There are many indications that there was also a stone tomb at that time and this copy is visualising it. The direction of N is not north, but pointing towards Paris. 
 
What else today: 
-       My itchings blisters are back, potentially from the first Covid jab (as treatment has ended Thursday). To avoid having to scratch all the time, we went cycling early and enjoyed the morning colours right after the rain (see extra). 
-       Having a bank holiday I realized that there’s no way to go forward with the blisters and sleepless nights. Luckily the the emergency practice from our hospital is open until 10 pm and they provided me with drugs again. 
-       Last but not least, the highlight that our friend B visited us spontaneous. Just arriving at the moment I was leaving to get the drugs, but fortunately she was still with us when I came back and we spent the rest of the evening together.
