The Wood Has Woken Up

I realised this morning that I hadn't walked round the wood for several weeks, so I set off in the rain to see how it looked now. With all the leaves well out and bright it is very encouraging. It is a peaceful short walk - very calming.

This view is actually from our wood into the continuation of the wood on our neighbor's land. These long shelter belts are a common feature in these parts. I liked the avenue of trees effect here.
