Day 426 Another walk to the Donkey Patch

This morning Mr MC spent some time at the new house, where our carpet fitter measured up for new  and removed the old carpets.  He was also was able to speak to the builder who may be able to fit a new kitchen for us.  I remained at home, but am allowed to visit tomorrow.  This afternoon I went for my turn around the Donkey Patch accompanied by Mr MC, Violet and her mummy.  I think it's time to go for one crutch rather than two, as using two does seem rather laborious and slow and I feel as though progress is slowing.
This evening we watched the Eurovision Song Contest, taking place in Rotterdam, with a limited audience trialling the return to large scale events.   Unfortunately the UK entry achieved the dubious distinction of receiving nul points.  It seems a bit harsh, but really the song was average and the singer not good.  We have managed this once before but apparently Norway and Austria are the leaders having each received nul points four times!
