A Day At A Time.

We spent a very entertaining afternoon watching Lloyd's rugby team lose rather badly to a very much stronger rival team in the final of the Gibraltar League.

The stadium is right down at the tip of the rock, a stone's throw from North Africa.

Afterwards, while the players were drowning their sorrows in the bar, we had a lovely lunch at Bianca's in Marina Bay.

It was the first time I had been allowed to go to Gib since the pandemic started in March of last year. Gib is pretty much virus free now, so no masks were required and there was a wonderful feeling of normality and civilisation about the place.

I'm not a huge fan of Gibraltar, but I do enjoy the relaxed, social  atmosphere and the Englishness of it all.
