A new year begins. Really a continuation of the old, but always imbued with a sense of hope and anticipation. I made some Pulla bread to have for breakfast and managed to unearth a pot of plum jam to go with it. For me it's a match made in heaven. We went to see The Hobbit in the afternoon armed with Christmas chocolates. It was fun going together. The film was good, but far too long. I started to fidget.
