Out with some of my favourite local pals, having a much belated birthday dinner… first time since pandemic broke that we’ve been able to reconvene our four households, and be inside, and have a snifter (or two).

To be honest we were all feeling quite nervous, but restaurant had adapted well, plenty of space between everyone, we’d all had at least one vaccine, and we felt safe enough, so it was jolly. What a palaver.
