Allotment 6 - progress

Pretty much cleared the grass and weeds from the plot now, with help from DoE daughter. I'm thinking, as I have that scrub pathway at the back of my plot, of maintaining a beetle bank along the back edge to encourage predator beetles etc. That's my excuse for not clearing right up to the back wire! The herbs planted last weekend have taken well, showing some fresh growth. And DoE daughter's peas have pushed up their first shoots.
