what month is it?


Went for a walk round the reservoir this afternoon, it was like October. Blowing a gale, dark, and cold. Looking on the bright side, there were no 'ne'er-do-wells' hanging about and disturbing the wildlife. Do I sound like a grumpy old woman?


There were two Cormorants bobbing about on the two buoys at opposite sides of the reservoir. I did take a picture of the two of them, but it looked a bit naff.


Made a start on holiday packing - Basically numerous black t-shirts, in a variety of necklines, and a selection off summery scarves. And, lots of dog blankets and towels. The joys of holidaying in the UK! I've also packed a wooly poncho! All loaded in an IKEA bag. We have heard of suitcases, but honestly an IKEA bag is the best way to pack when self-catering. Don't think it would work at an airport!

Winter roast instead of a summer BBQ tonight.
