late afternoon light

I took a slight detour on the way home to get the low sunlight.
As you can see there is still plenty of snow. It only melted where the sun got it as the temp barely made it above 0C all day (it was -2.5C when I took this).
I managed a short, slow run in the snow with vast improvement in the post-ski aches 7 pains.
Thanks for all the birthday greetings, I don't feel nearly ready for retirement yet!
