The Gate
Year 2 Day 60 of UK COVID-19 Pandemic. First UK Vaccine 166 days ago. England & Wales open. Minor restrictions.
We were to visit my terminally ill uncle in Somerset (UK) today but my aunty phoned early this morning to say he'd had a fall in the night and bled quite badly. They'd waited five and a half hours for an ambulance. He'd bled badly but fortunately didn't need to go to hospital, and as they'd been up all night were going back to bed.
It's been another day of rain and this evening, to get a blipfoto, I headed out in search. I like this lovely wrought iron gate into woods at Pontshill, near Ross on Wye (Herefordshire) where the wild grass is in the process of covering it. The extra is of trees beyond the gate.
