Underwhelming

A dry day, but dull and grey. We”ve not had great luck this weekend! Nice to get a photo of Mx who seems to be on good form (extra).
Decided to abandon our planned walk and set about thinking about where to go for a few days at the start of July...found some places up the east coast as we can’t face worrying that a ferry would be cancelled if we went to an island. Not sure what there is to do up on the north Moray coast....various searches didn’t reveal much, so any ideas welcome!
After we’d got things set up, we headed to Leith (passing Prince William walking back to the palace from church) to see Coburg House shop - we’d hoped the studios were also open but they weren’t, then over to South Queensferry for a wander.
Lunch at the Fat Pheasant...not as good as last time I went there unfortunately...a rather basic roast which was disappointing, although it was ok.
Drove along to have a wander round Blackness castle in the wind, then stopped in at Hopetoun House garden centre for another wander before home, final planning for our mini holiday and then another quiet evening watching classic Sunday night TV.
