Riverside (DS246)
I'm sure there is a story attached to this scene - and possibly not a positive one.
With our son we went to Kirkstall Abbey this morning and Salts Mill this afternoon. Kirkstall is quite a sight and well worth a visit. Along the River Aire we came across this scene which could be interpreted in different ways.
I'll leave it to you to decide what you make of it.
Salt's Mill (as in Titus Salt) was once the largest industrial building on the planet - now converted to an arts centre.
This evening we arranged to eat at a local Turkish restaurant. There were only outside tables available, but the weather forecast was ok(ish) when we booked. The food was very good, but the cool breeze meant we were not keen to stay for sweet and coffee.
Back to Warwickshire tomorrow.
