My first son's 50th birthday today +  family gathering with all five g.kids. The blip is the only girl and me. Note she has long arms, just like her dad and grandfather S. 
She is a very determined, single minded and hard working girl of very few words and scientific inclination.
 I  hope to live long enough to see what she does with her life. 
Chinchulan had an exiting and satisfying football day, jumping straight from his under 17 category into  the adult team, playing a whole twenty minutes. 
Little Ricky ate his slice of birthday cake with great ceremony,  alone in his tree house with a strange,  wistful expression on his chubby face.
The Titch banged his head  during yesterday's rugby game. He must wear a head protection from now on.
Max had a great time climbing up the magnolia tree and I enjoyed watching the fun.
It does seem weird to have a fifty year old son with greying hair.
