Too Long

I haven't been at the lathe for a while - and it was obvious today.
Things kept vanishing (none of them managed to hit me I am glad to say).
Glue wasn't going off as quickly as it should (too much damned moisture in the air).
Designs didn't quite go to plan - but they all spin.

I also spent time repairing a repair on a box.
It is a box which split ages after it had been finished. At that time I filled the split with coloured resin. Then, a couple of weeks later, the resin also split (a very strange bit of wood in the wat it has reacted I have to say).
So today I filled the new splits with Ebony dust and superglue (since I don't have any resin). Hopefully that will be the end of it.
