Hot Tub Happiness

Breakfast. Packed the car. Left Whitby.

We stopped at Newbiggin for a look at the statue on the breakwater...The Couple. As I was taking a pic a local woman stopped to say they had nicknamed them Ebb and Flo. She wasn’t a big fan, but I quite liked them.

We drove on up to Alnwick after a walk along the coastal path and a cuppa in a cafe. We were early for booking in the lodge so we went for a drink at a lovely pub. It looked so nice we booked it for a meal on Thursday evening.

Once we had unpacked we took a glass of wine out to the hot tub....lovely!
