Feed the birds...

... it costs me rather more than tuppence a bag!

The feeders in the garden where really busy all day, the birds needing food after a cold night and snow fall.

The Sparrow Hawk was also visiting the garden, but not in search of seed. We saw him a few times but never saw him get anything, Rich says they all have to eat. He is a very impressive bird.

Quite a bit of snow today and the road is like an ice rink. The bird feeders are all full and it is -7 outside already. I am sure they will be busy again tomorrow.
