8:30am (a little after) and pulling the weeWeir to nursery on a sledge.

After the wee drop snow decided to hang around, this was the most prudent (and time-efficient) way of getting there.

And it was a good way to warm up too.

Home, cycled my recently-resurrected mountain bike a few miles in the snow to walk the dogs and then return Mrs theWeir's car home.

A nice wander with Mrs theWeir to traverse the same route as earlier and return home with the Bairn.

Snowman built, road cleared and gritted, neighbours welcomed back and that was the morning...

My mum observed in Saturday that I always make things complicated. She wasn't being critical. It's true.

Life is complicated. The simple line "the knee bone is connected to the thigh bone" hides a myriad of complexity and interconnectedness.

And life is simple too.

This is the way. Walk in it.

I've been learning in recent weeks the value of doing what is in front of you. As long as that thing is helpful...
