If she thinks today is bad...
We have outside painters and window washers, inside and out here today. We have very large windows and a very tall house, so they are busy with ladders and all sorts of hectic activity that is not pleasing to Merry. Normally we would have her secured in an upstairs bedroom, but they need to wash windows there too. I'm a wreck that she will get out a window, but we're all watching closely and she is staying clear, although curious a s usual. In the photo, she's high above the fray in our large half moon window( which needs a wash!) that she accesses via her cat tree and then can on up even higher to the loft.
Tomorrow is going to be a very stressful day for her and for us. As some of you know, she has presented with very high liver enzymes and her lovely vet suggested we see a specialist in internal feline medicine. Due to Covid and the huge backlog everywhere the appointment is a month out, into June. The only way around it is to take her to the specialist's veterinary hospital's ER department. That involves a lengthy wait in the car before they take her in. We have to remain outside. We're taking her early tomorrow morning...no food after midnight! All of her records have been set, but we expect they will do their own bloodwork and repeat her last ultrasound that was done in early April(showing a very normal liver then even though her enzymes were high). Needless to say, we are very worried and I am incredibly stressed. Please think good thoughts for her, this is very worrying.
For the Record,
This day came in with beautifully warm, breezy weather.
All hands vaccinated
