Kniphofia

A late afternoon walk which I managed to fit in between showers. Big puddles everywhere along the river, the road almost flooded but the path that was going to be closed until Christmas is now open because Chris Packham objected to tree clearing being done in nesting season. That’s OK but the engineers only have a certain amount of time to start our big restoration river project before the money dries up in two years’ time. This is a kniphofia spotted on the way through.
