Rose

We had a birthday in the house on Tuesday, celebrated with a meal and graced with good humour and a beautiful bunch of pink roses. Only two days later and some of the blooms are rather relaxed and droopy. They are still lovely though, and much appreciated.
Today we had my youngest up to north Northumberland, to an equine cross country training establishment, where she and her pony thoroughly enjoyed themselves, leaping over all manner of jumps with expert tiution on hand to help her, and her friends, improve their techniques. Home by four thirty to a well deserved cuppa.
