Notes: Woke around 330a - early getting earlier. Did some more packing up and pulled out with the first load 445a. Roads were quiet and quick in and out of handful of things and big suitcase that feels like it weighs 75 lbs. The 2nd trip was a little after 7a and was quick also. Back and continuing to finalize - 8a felt like 2p. Confirmation of a great deal from Marie on her other place available on Thurs - finally some relief and the next step of the plan! Key turnover w/ Carmen's rep did not go great. He showed up early, but true to form, she had messed up my refund amount (to her benefit). She didn't respond for 45 min after when she said she'd be available - guy wrote 2001 instead of 2021 on the first check (what the heck??). He wouldn't write the 2nd check for the amount I knew was right. By the time he had handed it to me, she finally checked in and verified I was right. A third check for the difference was written then ... and a full hour after I could've been out of there, I was finally able to head to the beach for more unloading, unpacking. Treating these couple days like a hotel - minimal settling. So tired and the grind of headache carrying into the 3rd day. Walked out to the beach on a beautiful day, lots of people out - amazing color of the Gulf! Talked to Alison mid afternoon, couldn't fit in a nap but hoping I'll sleep better and longer tonight!
