Monday: Bumble Bee

It had rained heavily all night and rained heavily until late morning.
MrD had an early start because he does the handyman job and deliveries on a Monday.
When the rain stopped I walked around the garden, emptied overflowing saucers of water - everything ok in the greenhouse. Some coriander and nigella seeds have germinated, must have been the cold - I’ve moved them back into the greenhouse.
Watched this little bee who was very busy drilling holes at the base of the aquilegia to get at the nectar!
Sat outside this afternoon in the sunshine!! With a jacket on and an afternoon coffee as a special treat ... unpicking seams on a pillowcase which is no longer used, it’s perfect to make a little round cushion to fit in the finished crochet cushion https://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/blooming-flower-cushion.html - machine sewing done before dinner, without too many hitches, finish joining front & back tomorrow and another completed project!
Still dry late evening but chilly, our heating is on ...
