Star Begins with "S"

And this star is special, because, according to the inscription on it, this trivet was designed, molded and cast by my father-in-law, Horace Staph, at the University of Texas in Austin around 1950,  I love things with a history behind them and family history is even better!  So, I am thrilled to use it as my entry for Mono Monday!
