THE GREAT ESCAPE

I went to the 9 o’clock children’s service today...just for a bit of fun!!!
Got back in time to watch the 10 o’clock online with our Greek visitor who tried hard to sing along (her English is developing!). After yesterday news we knew we had to stay in. As we were watching the call came through to say she had been release!
So quickly...coat and shoes on we walked up to the local church and caught the end of the service and she was also able to light a candle for her husband who died last year (just 57 years old).

We surprised the Rev over the allotment. He panicked at first!!!! Maria and her Mum liked my girlie she’d!! :)))

Then J and Dan came to dinner to celebrate the great release.....we ended the day with a 2 hour road trip around London as the lights were coming on. It was so nice and a great way to see it all quickly...Knightsbridge, Hyde Park, Regents Street, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Downing Street, Houses of Parliament and onto Tower Bridge. The Rev did so well driving....my stint was so good...but that’s another story ;)
