I can't blame the slugs.

Hostas are, really, quite tasty.  Especially with a spiral twist of streaky bacon around them.  I can state, with 100% certainty, I have both  cooked/shot them thus but, apparently, either not Blipped, or badly tagged them.
I reckon I must either have a slug/snail shortage or it's too cold for them to be out foraging?
