Aground!

This is Canterbury Sea Cadets club hut.

I don't know when these boats were last afloat but I doubt they ever will be again. I have walked past this neglected scene many times but never had the temerity to venture in, until today. Another abandoned building which has a history I have no inkling of. However, I remember the scout hut where I spent many evenings in the 70's. To us it was special but to others it was dilapidated, almost a slum. I wonder how long ago this place was swarmed-over by kids? In one hut there were at least ten, apparently sea-worthy, canoes.

I may blip this again.
