#2 Daughter couldn't let the opportunity to swim in a lake pass her by. Yes, I think she is crazy, too, but guess what I did. I put on my swimming costume, found my water shoes and grabbed a towel. I didn't want to miss the  chance to try wild swimming.

Well, I knew I would never manage to go swimming, I'm bad enough about heated swimming pools! I did, however, take off my shoes, socks and joggers and walked out into the water! Yes, I got in, nearly to the knees! At least I had a go and I think The Daughter was proud of me. I was actually in the water when I took these shots of Kat.

This morning we had put up our marquee in the front garden so we could still enjoy being outdoors, even if it rained. Well it did rain, on and off through the day then poured down during our barbeque in the evening. That didn't prevent The Daughter from cooking on the fire pit and we stayed out drinking until after 10pm.
