Ada Salter

We travelled up to Guys hospital this morning for a check up with the stoma nurse. Margaret was, as usual, straight talking and positive enough to boost anyone's spirts. The Professor, who had done part of my operation, popped in to ask Margaret a question about another patient - she pointed out that she was dealing with me and the prof. would have to wait - he left quietly.
Transport was provided by young Keith, who stopped on the way home to show us the group of statues that include Ada and Alfred Salter. Their stories are fascinating (follow the links for wiki biogs).
