ONE!

Kara is 1 today. What a year!

We celebrated by having lunch at the Garden Centre. Mac & Cheese for all! It was the first time we’ve been out to eat since February 2020! Kara acted like she’d done it a million times. No fuss.

It’s natural to reflect back a year at this point I suppose. Our world is just so much different for all the obvious reasons. In one sense I could never look back and see the pandemic as negative for us. It made it possible for me to be there all day every day for her entire life so far. Now I’m permanent home working so still won’t miss anything and I’m only a room away if ever needed even when working. Bit of a extreme way to get that result but for us it works!
