Same, same - but slightly different

Last Thursday, I had an accident with my reliable companion for the past 5 years – my Sony RX100 III. The camera more or less survived, with the screen as the only noticeable exception.   I see this as a major failure, so I made a quick evaluation of possible replacements.  And guess what? On top of my list came two of the newer versions of Sony RX100.  And guess what 2?  This Monday all the major camera stores in Sweden offered a price reduction of 100 EUR on these models and on top of that there is a Sony Cashback campaign of another 100 EUR.  I hear/heard a message!
