found it hard to concentrate on work this afternoon, so took a short break in the garden, and said hello to neighbour just returned from an utterly delightful holiday in the Orkney Islands.

“Have you ever tried Highland Park?” she said, referring to that fine Orcadian malt. I nodded serenely, and was promptly persuaded into a late afternoon snifter. Further productivity has not been achieved.
