A true Scottish icon

According to the information the Broch is as much an icon as bagpipes. This is one at Clachtoll and we walked along the shore from the campsite to see it. It’s amazing to think it has been here so long.
We are on a site tonight that feels over crowded and for the number of people there are not enough facilities and they seem to have done nothing except put up a sign saying wear a mask and provide hand sanitizer. Pleased we only booked one night.
The beach once again is lovely and quiet and yet next to the site. The road once again was mostly single track and a few times we came across drivers that were having difficulties coping and two large motorhomes with smashed wing mirrors.
Another lovely dry day and it was nice to stop on route and take photos and have short walks.
