In the stillness...

So quiet and still in this part of Kelsey Park this afternoon. Even the geese were sleepy. It was good to be there. I’d done a good run this morning but initiated a walk later. Just feeling fidgety today. Further round the pond, the heron was keeping watch. Wonder if he saw the rats too...ugh. And the slinky fox.

House group this evening and we’ve talked lots about Sandra and prayed for her sons and their families. She was one of our group and we more often than not, met in her home. Now her sons have to send invitations to her funeral service. Others here will have recently been through the same or known those facing that difficult task.
