While the cat's away ....

Jamie's doing really well in his recovery.   In between being very sleepy he's shown that he is much more comfortable than yesterday, transferring more easily between bed and chair, even sitting up in bed unaided.   He's got an incentive to get home tomorrow as Ruth is now staying until Sunday :-)      

I'd done yesterday's cleaning early this morning before heading off to the hospital.   With Jamie asleep some of the time I was able to relax a bit.    Later Ruth and I took Meg down Gwalia to Broadwater at sunset, the light very similar to that when I caught the lovely image of Jamie and Meg that was the Blip Banner a few weeks ago.   Meg is certainly enjoying the longer walks as memory of her operation fades into the past.
