Och, it’s not very summery. Still, I got the beans and broccoli planted out between downpours, as well as whisking the SK round the covid drive through. A fair bit of weeding is going to be needed before my next departure but the place isn’t looking bad - particularly as the broom is still blooming. And for the first time, our disappointing rhododendrons have actually put on a bit of a display. Most gratifying.
Later, given the weather out, a little matinee, called Love and Monsters. Diverting enough, but after a strong start I realised I was in the wrong demographic by about fifty years.
