I could pic out my mum instantly from this photo cos at this age (7) my brother is so like her. This would be her first term at Braco School. After her Dad got custody of her she had to live with her Uncle Tom and his wife near Glendoick and went to school there till her Dad found a housekeeper (as per the court order). Her Dad visited her when his work shifts allowed him the time. Mum was happy there as the family were all close knit.

Had a relapse this afternoon of the balance issue just as I thought it was almost away! Went out for a walk and stopped off in Hinterland for a cuppa.
