Springwatch

I’m a few days late with this, but what a difference from this time last year:
https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2709043508617939723 (& extra to directly compare).  Not a single rose in bloom in my garden yet (although plenty of buds).  The hellebores are completely over and this year the aquilegia are a delight.

Springwatch https://www.bbc.co.uk/events/e5fn5v/live/crwzp6 has noticed the stark difference the weather has made, too.  Chris Packham: gets my vote for national treasure!
