Family Time.....

Our first cygnet on the lake this year! There's quite a bit of rivalry between the black and the mute swans, which appears to affect where each nest. The black swans nested early but after a few weeks they abandoned the nest. It was during the cold spell in April.

We're not sure where this one came from, but it was lovely to see them when we walked early this afternoon.
