Hidcote

It's been a lovely day weather-wise.  I can feel the wet, cold, miserable days disappearing into the past!

We decided to do an NT this afternoon, Hidcote in the Cotswolds was accepting visitors without bookings after 2pm so that was decided.  This is the best time of year to visit Hidcote, the gardens are awash with vibrant colours, flowers wild and cultivated are competing to grab your attention. 

The only downside was the catering, which was takeaway only, no outside seating allowed though there were plenty of benches around, but there was a very long queue.  So we waited and had coffee at home.  

As expected I took lots of photos.  I couldn't decide on just one so here's a collage of four beauties.
