And then, Finally it was Summer
Changed around day. I worked 9am to 1pm rather than 11am to 3pm. Dropped client at her lunch venue and met Dad and a pal of his in the Abbotsford in Rose St for a drink. Oh aye, had a brief dook with pal J at 6am this morning. Water still very chilly since there has been very little heat in the sun to warm it. Tried to cut through John Lewis but discovered the centre isn't open till late June. Shop was very shiny, new and spacious but I wasn't buying and the diversion/delay cost me 20mins of detour, making me late for dad.
After meeting dad, I popped in to see a Bellfield colleague and did booking system and invoicing stuff. Then haircut at 4pm. Had been going to weed up at the plot but husband pulled allotment rank and wanted me to do tea. Everything was left ready (of course). While tea was heating/cooking I whirled round our manky house dusting and sweeping. Kids were at swimming. Then it was me to get the girls to athletics. Finished my palliative care module due tonight. Yesterday I got the regeneration fund application in (and we got feedback today). Getting AP AGM sorted but need to finish slides and do my college essay by end of month. It is doable!
Then I'll get to my tax return and the 100 other wee tasks.
Oh aye, the sun came out about 1pm. Snapped the above about 2.30pm cause it was quite exciting to be in town and seeing these faithful giraffes. ♥️♥️
