Castle Roy

In contrast to the sophistication of the elegant railings featured in yesterday's Blip Castle Roy is a 12 th century fortification. Situated on a natural mound about a mile north of Nethy Bridge the castle can claim to be the oldest mortared fortification in Scotland.
