Buttermere

I actually remembered my camera today!  The weather started lovely so we decided to get the bus over to Buttermere (free with bus pass!)

By the time we arrived it had clouded over but remained dry.   

This view shows some nice reflections of Fleetwith Pike and the start of Honister Pass.

After lunch there was a dramatic change when it suddenly became windy and the temperature went up by a few degrees.   The sky then cleared and it was a lovely end to the afternoon with warm sunshine and what felt like summer for the first time this year!
