Grainy? It's a Beach.

It is raining off and on now and the beautiful winter snow is beginning to melt. Today the light is between drab grey and an occasional sliver of sun. I usually strive for a natural look and use HDR minimally. Today, I am opening up the shadows and cranking in the HDR exposure fusion to give this sand dune a bit of tone-mapped pizzazz.

Exageration is a billion times better than understatement.
