Refugees?

I haven't seen many herons on the local wetlands recently but in the last couple of days you couldn't point a lens anywhere without a heron elbowing (kneeing?) its way into the picture. My theory is that they've flown here to escape the excitable Springwatch crew over on Wild Ken Hill.
