Wild barley..
...glowing in the sun. Upon closer look I found a number of katydids resting on the glume, like able acrobats, climbing and clinging to any surface. Probably there was more of them than usual as the "hobby" farmer had just cut the grass on what I call "my meadow" leaving just a small rocky centre where the wild barley and a few other plants grow, destroying the habitat to thousands of insects, silencing the orthoptera symphony.
