The massive redevelopment of the dockland stalled by economic stasis and with nothing much to show for it bar some flats which look like they were designed in a nursery and an 24 hour Asda.

Just finished Ballard's High Rise a dystopian tale of life gone feral in an exclusive apartment block. A block perhaps not unlike these.
