Titus sometimes goes flat to ground when meeting other dogs. My understanding of canine body language (I’m making efforts to learn it) tells me that this is his way of communicating that he will cause no trouble and only wants a peaceful encounter. It turns out that the dog approaching was beaten and neglected as a puppy and was thus poorly socialised.
