All-star dynamos

A day which started badly and had some insanely busy stuff in the middle, finished in a rather lovely fashion.

I sat and enjoyed a pint (courtesy of my former father in-law) as we caught up and watched our children/grandchildren spend an hour playing cricket.

M’boy had moved up to “Dynamos” and The Youngest joined the growing ranks of “All Stars”.

Even the threatening skies backed off and allowed the 70-odd children to run around and play like mad things without getting drenched.

I wasn’t sure if arming Matty with a weapon was a good thing or not, but must confess to being very impressed as she walloped the ball all over the place!

It was a cracking end to a rather challenging day and a lovely way to lead into a very much needed week off.
