Road trip

We thought we’d check in on the birds this morning, before we go away for the weekend and to our shock, the nest was empty!!! We can’t believe they’ve fledged so quickly.

Although we are only away for a few days, the rules are that we have to clean the house, change the bedding etc.
Once that was done, we grabbed a quick bite to eat before packing up the van and heading off.

Not the best day to be on the road (the start of half term and a bank holiday weekend) but needs must to get us to the venue ready for work in the morning.

Sat nav estimated 3 hours to Milton Keynes but of course we ended up stuck in a jam and ended up with an extra hour on our journey.

We arrived just in time for food and a quick catch up with the crew and sort the call time for tomorrow. Thankfully, we’ve got a great forecast for the weekend so although the traffic getting here was rubbish, the weather for the next three days is promising ;-)
