Geeking

Two Geeks together sorting out a new television.  It proved t be a bit more of a challenge than previously as one geek as just had a hernia op and the other can't see or twiddle things  and neither of them believe in reading instructions...

Dad will be going for some respite care when we go down South to a wedding (MAYBE) in a few weeks time.  He will probably have to have a covid test an isolate in his room for a few days. TV is his main interest these days (when he can sort out how to get it on) so we had a family conflab and decided that he would need to take a very simple TV with him.  We ordered from Currys today and did their excellent click and collect service where they bring it out to you and put it straight in your boot.

Some rain this afternoon because I had put the washing on the line.  No real damage done though.

Rob sends his thanks for all your good wishes for his recovery.  He has done very well today.  I have offered to wrap his belly in clingfilm so he can have a bath but he doesn't seem too enamoured of that idea.  He didn't like his stockings either...
